Likelihood of Running
Some of our DMs are serving as backups. We’ve included them on this list in case you really, really want to play with them, but be sure to keep this in mind! We recommend selecting mostly campaigns that are guaranteed to run next quarter to ensure you don’t have complications getting into a campaign. We cannot guarantee our backups will run.
The ranking system of likeliness is as follows:
- I plan to be a DM this quarter
- I’d rather be a DM but I would be fine playing if necessary
- I’m fine either way
- I’d rather be a player but I could DM if necessary*
- Last resort: if the world ends and every other DM is obliterated, I could DM*
*NOTE: 4’s and 5’s are not posted on the website as they are super heckin’ backups. We only post them if we’re really in a pinch.
Game System, Edition, & Stats
Here you’ll find all the logistic info to consider how badly you want to join the campaign.
First, there’s the game system, meaning which tabletop role-playing game (RPG) the GM is going to run. Many of our GMs run traditional Dungeons & Dragons (D&D), though some run other fun things as well!
Just below that, you’ll see what edition of the game system they’ll be running. Not all tabletop RPGs have multiple editions, but some of them do. This is important because some of the core mechanics (rules) can change from edition to edition. For example, D&D has been in existence since 1974 and has changed dramatically since then. The most recent edition, 5.5e, was published in 2024.
Below that, you’ll see if this is a brand new campaign, or what’s known as a continuing campaign. Sometimes, GMs start a campaign that will last longer than the nine sessions we have in a quarter. They will list their campaign as “continuing” to indicate if they are running the same campaign that they ran last quarter.
You can still join a continuing campaign even if you weren’t in it while it previously ran. Continuing players have priority for open spots, but if someone leaves or the GM otherwise has open spots, you might be able to join!
Silliness Index is an important stat to DUDAD. Some GMs like to run goofy games that are chock-full of memes and jokes and silly times. Some GMs like a more serious campaign that tells a grounded, narrative structure. The scale is from 1 to 5, with 1 being a very serious, grounded campaign and 5 being an overall goof-fest.
The scale of the campaign indicates how high the stakes are, which is also on a range of 1 to 5. Do you like tight-knit stories where your character is solving a small mystery, or would you rather have the fate of the multiverse in your hands? Smaller-scaled campaigns (1) will have those small, focused stories, while larger-scaled campaigns (5) will have much more epic proportions.
Rule adherence is how strictly the GMs plan to stick to their system’s rules. 1 means there’s a lot of flexibility, 5 means this campaign is to the book.
Commitment level indicates how committed the GM expects players to be. A 1 is a low level of commitment, so your GM would probably be chill if you had to miss a few meetings. A 5 is a high level of commitment, which means you will most likely be expected be fully engaged and at every meeting during the quarter.
Features give players an idea of what the GMs play-style is like. Like a lot of combat where death is around the corner? There are characteristics for that. Do you enjoy more role-playing? That exists too.
Campaign Description
This is one of the most important things you’ll find on this page. The description is what the GM has written to let you know what kind of adventure you’ll be going on. If you have a favorite setting (e.g. pirates or space-themed) or you wanna know what your party will be up against, this is where to find that. Be sure to keep in mind the stats above too! If you’re not into zombies usually but you see all their stats are your style, you might be surprised at what a fun time you can have!
Notes
We try to tailor our GM sign-ups to have all the information a GM might need, but occasionally we leave out certain details or the GM has something game-specific they want you, the players, to know. Not every GM will provide notes for their campaign, which is okay. That usually means all the info you need is above! The notes section can have helpful information about the campaign!
If anything doesn’t make sense or is generally gobble-dee-gook, don’t hesitate to reach out to us and let us know! We try to make the sign up experience as easy as we can.
Happy Adventuring!

Liam and Fitz’s Campaign Description
To invoke a Name is to take its essence unto yourself, serving as a conduit to a stream of power so great it erodes your very being. Yet, to face the ruination looming on the horizon, you must do just that. Through myriad paths, you find yourselves in the city of Orsinon, still reeling from a revolution that slew its tyrant, the Greater Name of Order, but has thus far failed to bring about any meaningful change. Perhaps you were born there, or perhaps you have traveled from afar seeking riches, glory, or a fresh start. Regardless, you’re short on cash. You’ve been hired to find and wipe out a local gang, but in so doing are called upon to turn from mercenaries to heroes. Ingratiate yourself with as many Names as time allows, that you may channel their power and save Orsinon.

Corbin’s Campaign Description
In Mythic Bastionland, you’ll take on the role of Knights of the Realm: warriors, investigators and celebrities all at once. Your company has been tasked with seeking out dangerous myths across the realm and “solving them.” How you do that is up to you, though given the nature of your job, some of your operations may have… undesired results. If one of these myths should come to fruition, it’ll be up to you to put the realm back together.
Corbin’s Notes
Since I doubt many people have played Mythic Bastionland, I am more than happy to explain all of the rules. The game is a lot simpler than it may seem. I will also say that due to the amount of freedom that Mythic Bastionland offers players, you will have a lot of ability to shape the story. You even get to vote on how much time passes between each session, and choose what your characters do during timeskips.

Eliza’s Campaign Description
You have been locked in the Night Ward, this is the paranormal wing of a high security prison. Mysterious circumstances break up the monotony of your nocturnal internment and your fellow inmates are restless. The trial and your crime are a blur to you. Did your crimes warrant this punishment or was it caused by your nature?
Built on the Urban Shadows system with slight modifications to fit the 1950’s setting and prison appropriate equipment. This is a mystery with thrilling moments of escape and inevitable prison yard goofiness. This system is similar to Monster of the Week with the classic Powered by the Apocalypse setting.
Eliza’s Notes
Lines and Veils will be strongly enforced. Player comfort is the priority over penitentiary realism.

Gabiel’s Campaign Description
This campaign is both a celebration and a subversion of the classic high fantasy genre, exploring how traditional forces of “good” may be far more morally gray than they seem. In this campaign, a party of intrepid heroes shall stand against corruption in an adventure spanning kingdoms and seas. Though glory and treasure await, the party must remain true to themselves and one another as they toe the line between the forces of supposed “good” and “evil” in search of a better tomorrow.

- Medium Difficulty
- Linear World

Alister’s Campaign Description
The year is 1500 Dalereckoning in the tumultuous realm of Faerûn. The numerous city states that belong to the Lords’ Alliance are beset by political instability, tensions which threaten to fray the already-tenuous bonds of the coalition. You are a member of a small militia hired by the city of Berdusk to resolve a trade blockade. What seems at first to be an innocuous, trivial task proves to be anything but, as you and your comrades are drawn into a plot far stranger and darker than the current political climate. An anomaly is spreading from the forsaken corners of Faerûn, one that threatens to subvert the natural order of the material plane itself.
Greet the end with opens arms, for it will be resplendent.
Alister’s Notes
There are only a few rules for the campaign, as I don’t want to be too restrictive of player freedom.
- Material components are not used in this campaign. So long as your character is able to perform verbal and somatic components, you are free to cast spells.
- The Peace Domain subclass for the Cleric is banned. Straight up. This thing is so absurdly broken.
- Hexblade Warlock / Paladin multiclassing is banned.
- The Yuan Ti and Warforged races are banned.
- PvP is allowed under certain circumstances. If two players’ backstories foment dissent between them or implore them to fight each other at a thematically appropriate moment, that’s perfectly fine, and even encouraged. Please do not PvP over loot.

Noah’s Campaign Description
The Valley of Avalon, encircled by the Caer Velyn Mounts and the Grey Forests, is a place of serene beauty and peace, untouched by danger or fear, since the rise of the Eliathen, the Second Sun. Under its light, the land is a place of inexplicable beauty, where nothing dies, only fades. But when the earth trembles, and Aisling-Meabhair, the tallest peak of the Cear Veylns, explodes, a colossal beast emerges to swallow the Second Sun. With the world plunged into darkness once more, our heroes are forced to restore Avalon and rescue it from the danger it had previously escaped. Through this story-driven campaign, our heroes will face hideous beasts, relive memories of the past, and uncover the buried truths of this all too perfect land. Beauty has a price, and even the best dreams must end.
Noah’s Notes
I tend to focus my games on the story and character interactions rather than “cool moments” I as the DM want players to feel something, shock, surprise, betrayal, despair, etc. which is why I will emphasize a high focus on character roleplay and investment as well as to create meaningful backstories. As a GM I like to keep backstories, or at least elements of backstories secret between players at first and allow players to reveal them later. My general rule of thumb is I tend to GM along the lines of, as long as its cool and justifiable, we can make something work: I’m not much of a stickler on rules. I plan to to stick with the more classic races for this campaign, however if you want to play something else, I am more than happy to find a way/reason to make that fit and be story aligned! I’m pretty go with the flow as long as ideas are within reason and fit the theme!

Adam’s Campaign Description
Enter into dungeons deep,
stumble upon liches asleep.
Commit to the stereotypical action of a break-in,
and mow down minions like bowling pins.
Steal the dragon’s gold-encrusted cheese grater,
and – hey wait a minute! that’s my refrigerator!
You can’t take that and put down my magic cutlery!
Stop this thuggery!!
You can’t just walk into my house like this. Like your mother, go be problematic in a tavern not my kitchen. I heard that there was this really cool dead guy’s place down the street you could loot instead. Don’t adventurers like seeing dead bodies?

Natalie’s Campaign Description
My campaign, “The Wealth of New Gods” takes place in my homebrew setting of the continent of Chitin, a dense and sprawling jungle territory, bordered by rocky cliffs. Your party will have the freedom to explore either the vast and magical oceans and the sunken ruins that lie beneath the waves, or venture into the jungle in search of rumored treasures guarded by powerful monsters, cultish tribes, and incomprehensible insect gods who weigh the souls of all who cross through their domain. The campaign takes place in the city of Cliffstain, an anarchic complex of various cultures interacting and sustaining each other through likely (and unlikely) alliances. I created this campaign originally to center characters and work collaboratively to tell a story, rather than railroading my players

PVP not allowed with the exception of late game if players have chosen different factions.
