Likelihood of Running
Some of our DMs are serving as backups. We’ve included them on this list in case you really, really want to play with them, but be sure to keep this in mind! We recommend selecting mostly campaigns that are guaranteed to run next quarter to ensure you don’t have complications getting into a campaign. We cannot guarantee our backups will run.
The ranking system of likeliness is as follows:
- I plan to be a DM this quarter
- I’d rather be a DM but I would be fine playing if necessary
- I’m fine either way
- I’d rather be a player but I could DM if necessary*
- Last resort: if the world ends and every other DM is obliterated, I could DM*
*NOTE: 4’s and 5’s are not posted on the website as they are super heckin’ backups. We only post them if we’re really in a pinch.
Game System, Edition, & Stats
Here you’ll find all the logistic info to consider how badly you want to join the campaign.
First, there’s the game system, meaning which tabletop role-playing game (RPG) the GM is going to run. Many of our GMs run traditional Dungeons & Dragons (D&D), though some run other fun things as well!
Just below that, you’ll see what edition of the game system they’ll be running. Not all tabletop RPGs have multiple editions, but some of them do. This is important because some of the core mechanics (rules) can change from edition to edition. For example, D&D has been in existence since 1974 and has changed dramatically since then. The most recent edition, 5.5e, was published in 2024.
Below that, you’ll see if this is a brand new campaign, or what’s known as a continuing campaign. Sometimes, GMs start a campaign that will last longer than the nine sessions we have in a quarter. They will list their campaign as “continuing” to indicate if they are running the same campaign that they ran last quarter.
You can still join a continuing campaign even if you weren’t in it while it previously ran. Continuing players have priority for open spots, but if someone leaves or the GM otherwise has open spots, you might be able to join!
Silliness Index is an important stat to DUDAD. Some GMs like to run goofy games that are chock-full of memes and jokes and silly times. Some GMs like a more serious campaign that tells a grounded, narrative structure. The scale is from 1 to 5, with 1 being a very serious, grounded campaign and 5 being an overall goof-fest.
The scale of the campaign indicates how high the stakes are, which is also on a range of 1 to 5. Do you like tight-knit stories where your character is solving a small mystery, or would you rather have the fate of the multiverse in your hands? Smaller-scaled campaigns (1) will have those small, focused stories, while larger-scaled campaigns (5) will have much more epic proportions.
Rule adherence is how strictly the GMs plan to stick to their system’s rules. 1 means there’s a lot of flexibility, 5 means this campaign is to the book.
Commitment level indicates how committed the GM expects players to be. A 1 is a low level of commitment, so your GM would probably be chill if you had to miss a few meetings. A 5 is a high level of commitment, which means you will most likely be expected be fully engaged and at every meeting during the quarter.
Features give players an idea of what the GMs play-style is like. Like a lot of combat where death is around the corner? There are characteristics for that. Do you enjoy more role-playing? That exists too.
Campaign Description
This is one of the most important things you’ll find on this page. The description is what the GM has written to let you know what kind of adventure you’ll be going on. If you have a favorite setting (e.g. pirates or space-themed) or you wanna know what your party will be up against, this is where to find that. Be sure to keep in mind the stats above too! If you’re not into zombies usually but you see all their stats are your style, you might be surprised at what a fun time you can have!
Notes
We try to tailor our GM sign-ups to have all the information a GM might need, but occasionally we leave out certain details or the GM has something game-specific they want you, the players, to know. Not every GM will provide notes for their campaign, which is okay. That usually means all the info you need is above! The notes section can have helpful information about the campaign!
If anything doesn’t make sense or is generally gobble-dee-gook, don’t hesitate to reach out to us and let us know! We try to make the sign up experience as easy as we can.
Happy Adventuring!

Natalie’s Campaign Description
My campaign is a seafaring adventure filled with unique monsters, varying political factions, and a boatload of treasure. In the mysterious new world of Chitin, across The Faded Sea, a terrifying and mysterious jungle awaits. Players will decide how they react to the colonization of the island and which factions they want to support in this new world. Overall though, it’s a silly campaign with many moving parts that develop with (or without) player input. A campaign that suits the invested actor just as well as the bloodthirsty murder hobo.

Pilots can be from just about any background- whether you are a seasoned wing of albatross or an independent mercenary! Feel free to use any expansions as long as they are official and not fan made. Only real restriction is that you don’t have a mech made of meat. I encourage flavoring as well!

Kai’s Campaign Description
This campaign is a homebrew campaign based on the vibes of the movie Paprika. For those who may be unfamiliar, think Studio Ghibli meets Inception. This campaign will toy with your sense of reality and explore topics of truth, Lovecraftian horror, and whether you can trust your own mind.
Students from your university have been disappearing without explanation. In an era before modern identification, it’s difficult for authorities to confirm identities, especially when an unconscious patient arrives at a hospital in another city with no documents or name, only a university jacket. When word reaches you that such a patient may match the description of your missing friend, you and your companions board a sleeper train to the nearby city, hoping to confirm their identity. But when you arrive, something feels… wrong. The city doesn’t seem quite right. People act strangely. And as you search for your friend, you start to wonder whether the world around you is truly real or if something else is shaping it.
Kai’s Notes
Everyone is welcome in my games! I do not encourage in-game romance and I will not explore any themes of racism, homophobia, etc. Gore (specifically body horror) is possible, but it is not a core part of gameplay and I am happy to work around any specific triggers

Dewey’s Campaign Description
In the ancient merchant hub of Ferro City, life is quiet. Until a mysterious fungal plague begins spreading through the slums, leaving bodies blooming with strange growths. As the sickness festers, mechanical constructs start appearing in the lower city, performing the daily routines of the dead while the upper class refuses to speak of it. A mysterious patron hires you hires you to follow the trail of these machines, but some things buried in the city were never meant to be unearthed.
Dewey’s Notes
This campaign is roleplay and investigation heavy, with atmosphere and player agency at the forefront. I am a newer DM so rules familiarity isn’t as important to me as a willingness to engage with the mystery and collaborate on telling a good story!

Corbin’s Campaign Description
You are Worldless Wayfarers, fugitives from different dimensions across the cosmos running from or for something, never able to stay in one dimension for too long. The cosmos are cruel, and every dimension has something seriously wrong with it, from a horribly corrupt ruling class to eldritch horrors, not to mention the threats who are hunting you across worlds. One of these such threats is the enigmatic Order of the Lordsword, a mysterious political organization with roots in countless dimensions and seats at the highest of society in the wealthiest worlds.
Corbin’s Notes
During character creation, everyone will pick a dimension from a list in the rulebook, and that dimension will be visited for one of the sessions. This also determines a couple things about your character, and is basically the equivalent of species from DND, except everyone is going to be a human, just from very different walks of life.

Finn’s Campaign Description
Conscripted into the ranks of C.A.R.C.A.S. (Chaos Anomaly Reconnaissance, Containment, & Accession Service), you and your fellow cadets are being sent to the corrupted world of Ignotus Prime, where reality fractures and the unknown pushes back. Missions from High Command seem simple—investigate anomalies, secure valuable discoveries, and survive—but the deeper you go, the less the universe obeys its own rules. Warped creatures, psychic intrusions, and hostile environments constantly threaten both your body and your sanity. In C.A.R.C.A.S., cadets are expendable, information is controlled, and failure feeds the Chaos. Complete the mission. Survive if you can. In that order, High Command insists on it.
Finn’s Notes
Excluded classes: Bard, Monk (do not narratively fit)
There are no excluded races. Think of all the different species in the Star Wars universe- you can be from anywhere.
NOTE: The majority of people in C.A.R.C.A.S. are human (for lore reasons hehe), but I am definitely open to characters of other races.

Reid’s Campaign Description
Night City in the late 2040’s is full of corporations, some massive, others barely being a blip in the grand scheme. One corporation, Keirstan Dynamics a midsized European based corp that produces everything from cyberware to tanks, has been attempting to grow its influence and profits in Night City by any means necessary. While their tactics are nothing new to the city, they appear to have ruffled the wrong feathers in their latest “marketing” campaign. Will watch their plight from the side acting only as a viewer? Will you get into bed with them and help them accomplish their goals? Or will you help bring their “marketing” campaign come to a premature end? And how will Night City change in the process?
Reid’s Notes
There will be a few choices which the entire party must agree on at the start of the campaign, and some of these choices may restrict class usage.

Adam’s Campaign Description
In the grim darkness of the far future, where heroes die everyday and the souls of the just are brought low, you will serve a patron in his large and encompassing quest. Mysterious though he may be, his goal is simple: to carve out ownership of the planet of Byunta by whatever means necessary. All of this is not for the good of the imperium, but it is for the good of you and your master. Prepare to go forth and be the shadowing talons of your master in silencing his enemies.
Adam’s Notes
This campaign is set in the intimidatingly large and dark setting of Warhammer 40,000; however, I am going to try and keep things very grounded and easy to understand so you do not have to be in any way familiar with the setting.
