Hey there DUDADers! Are you ready for the first meeting of the decade?!? Join us tonight (January 10) at 7pm in Sharon’s Alcove for an exciting start to your new adventures!
If you haven’t signed up for a campaign yet, don’t worry! Just show up to the first meeting of the quarter and we can slot you into a campaign on the spot! So come on over, maybe even bring a friend, and start your decade the right way: playing Dungeons & Dragons (or whatever table-top RPG your heart desires)!
Hello, DU Dragons! We hope you’re already enjoying a restful and rejuvenating winter break! We at DUDAD HQ have certainly been enjoying winding down from Fall Quarter’s adventures with a cozy apple cider and a leftover turkey leg at the town’s local tavern and inn.
A couple quick updates for our upcoming Winter Quarter of DUDAD!
Upcoming Quarter
Priority registration for Winter 2020 is over, but don’t despair! You can still sign up for your upcoming adventure! Hurry though, because we’re out of priority territory, you’ll be slotted on a first-come, first-serve basis, and spots fill fast!
If you’ve already signed up, great news! The Placement Page has been updated! Head on over and check out who you’re playing with!
Design Contest 2020!
CALLING ALL CREATIVE PEOPLE! (In other words, all of DUDAD) We’re holding a new design contest! Here’s what we need:
Design a shirt for DUDAD!
Designs must abide by DU requirements, keep it clean and friendly please!
Include ‘DUDAD’ or ‘DU Dungeons & Dragons Club’ somewhere on your design!
Send a PNG or JPEG to the DUDAD exec email by January 16th at 11:59pm! (That’s Thursday, week 2 of Winter Quarter).
DUDAD members will vote on their favorite design! First place will be printed on T-shirts, second place will be on stickers!
T-shirts and stickers from both this upcoming contest as well as the winners from our last design contest will be available to order once the contest is closed and winning designs are selected. Did we mention they’ll be FREE? That’s right, we’ll be able to get your t-shirts to you!
In order to do that though, we’ll need designs, so get creative!
Hey guys, gals, and non-binary pals! Player sign ups for Winter Quarter 2020 are due TONIGHT at 11:59 pm mountain time!
After the deadline, you’ll be sorted on a first-come, first-served basis, so if you want a good chance of getting in one of your top campaigns, don’t wait! Sign up now!
As we hope you all know, DUDAD has a club D&D Beyond account that every member has access to! What can you do on the D&D Beyond account, exactly? Well for one thing you can access incredible resources such as the newest book in our collection, Acquisitions Incorporated!
Here’s the official description:
“Explore a wealth of peril and personalities for the world’s greatest roleplaying game.
When you’re just starting out in the adventuring business, it might be nice to have a leg up. It can be a big help to have access to the powerful artifacts, expertise, and jobs that Acquisitions Incorporated (Acq Inc) has to offer a new franchise. Join Omin Dran, Jim Darkmagic, and Viari like never before with the new Acquisitions Incorporated campaign book for Dungeons & Dragons!
Set yourself up for success when pursuing your own fantasy-business endeavors, using all the ingredients you need to include Acquisitions Incorporated in your D&D campaign, to establish your own franchise, and take on specialized roles therein. Plus, there are always openings coming available… Just try not to think about why.” (dnd.wizards.com)
If you would like to use the club’s shared D&D Beyond account, or any of our other resources, just email the Exec Team at du.dad.exec@gmail.com to request access!
Have you heard the news? The newest D&D adventure book, Baldur’s Gate: Descent into Avernus, was released on Tuesday! Our Exec Team was so excited about this release that we bought the book at our latest Exec meeting!
As many of you (hopefully) know, DUDAD has a shared D&D Beyond account, as well as other resources that members of our club can access. This means that any of our club members have access to this new adventure along with a ton of other adventure books and manuals!
Our Resources page is currently under construction, so we wanted to remind you all of just some of the resources available to club members:
Baluder’s Gate: Descent into Avernus (New!!!)
The Player’s Handbook
The Dungeon Master’s Guide
More Adventure Books
Map Making with Inkarnate
A Homebrew Compendium (that you can add to!)
We know what you’re thinking, how do you get access to Baldur’s Gate: Descent into Avernus and all of the other club resources? Lucky for you it’s simple! DUDAD club members should email the Exec Team requesting access to club resources and we’ll send you instructions on how to access the D&D Beyond account, the Inkarnate account, and our Homebrew Compendium! This comes at no extra cost to members, so please don’t hesitate to email your requests to du.dad.exec@gmail.com.
The Demographic Survey is important y’all! Please please fill it out!!!!
If my fancy HTML embedding form doesn’t work below, follow this link to fill it out! All info is anonymous, we wanna compile info on the club that’s as accurate as possible!
We survived Week Two! There were lion centaurs and a ton of Zelda references, so all in all it was a pretty good week! Keep reading to find our Player’s Guild and some club-related news! Or don’t, I’m not your boss, I can’t tell you what to do.
International Table Top Day and DU Arcade
What are you doing on May 18? Whatever it is you should give cancel those plans and come to ECS to participate in International Tabletop Day and DU Arcade! ITTD is a fun event where we play board games, Jackbox games, and sometimes we run one shots. DU Arcade is Denver’s largest independent video game expo. The event goes from 10am to 6pm, though we’ll probably stay until midnight, so feel free to hang out a little longer!
Demographic Survey
Keep an eye on our Facebook page for an announcement about a demographic survey! This is to keep track of the progress we’ve made towards a more inclusive club, so please fill it out when it’s released!

Hey you! Yeah, you! We need some DMs for fall quarter so if you’re thinking of running a campaign now is the time to sign up! Even if you’re not 100% sure you want to run a campaign you can sign up as a backup DM!
Every year, we conduct the demographics survey to keep record of who is in our club.
Please fill this out, we want to get an accurate look at our club’s make up and we can only do that if everyone participates in the survey. Even if you filled it out last year, we still need you to fill it out.
Email us for the link to the new Player’s Guild Account, which has access to all the DND books on DND Beyond and Inkarnate!
Sounds super rad! How do I get in?
